From next August 21st to October 24th These will be the dates to submit the income tax return for natural persons in the country, according to the Dian tax calendar for this year.
This process is mandatory and allows the entity to know the income, educations and assets that were obtained during a given year. In addition, It is used by the state to find out if the person must pay taxes.

In the event that a person must file an income tax return and does not do so, it may result in fines and sanctions. Therefore, we must be attentive to the information of the Dian.
Limits for natural persons for this year
The caps are divided into five categories: gross assets, gross income, credit card consumption, purchases and consumption and bank deposits.

If you complied with at least one of these in 2023, you must declare this year.
– Gross assets: You must declare if as of December 31, 2023, you have a gross assets greater than $190,854,000
– Gross income: You must declare if during the year 2023 your total income is equal to or greater than $59,376,800
– Credit card purchases: You must declare if your consumption made with a credit card in 2023 exceeds $59,376,800
– Purchases and consumption: You must declare if in 2023, your purchases and consumption exceed $59,376,800.
– Bank deposits: You must declare if in the year 2023, your bank deposits or deposits in financial accounts are greater than $59,376,800.

Please note that the calendar for natural persons is different from that for legal entities. The last two digits of the NIT determine the deadlines for the declaration:
